Digital transformation consulting & strategy services

Before technology, you need clarity.
We help you make the right decisions from the start.

Most digital projects fail not because the wrong software was chosen, but because the wrong questions were asked at the start. Our digital transformation consulting approach begins where others skip: with your processes, your people and the outcomes you actually need.
We work with you to define a practical digital transformation strategy, align stakeholders, and create a realistic digital transformation roadmap that drives lasting business transformation

WHY IT MATTERS

The biggest risks in digital transformation projects are structural, not technical.

Unclear scope, misaligned goals, and rushed decisions can derail a project before implementation even begins. Through digital transformation consulting, we address these structural challenges first to create the conditions for successful execution.

RISK 01: Starting with the solution instead of the problem

When technology is selected before business processes are understood, implementations are built on assumptions. Those assumptions become expensive corrections later. We ensure the right questions are answered before any technology decision is made.

RISK 02: Defining success only after going live

A project without agreed success criteria cannot be measured or defended. We define what success looks like from the start, so every decision can be evaluated against clear business outcomes.

RISK 03: Underestimating the people side of change

Technology is adopted by people, not companies. A system that goes live on time but is not used by the organization has not succeeded. We treat user adoption as part of the digital transformation project, not as an afterthought on the last day before go-live.

RISK 04: Treating scope and budget as things to discover later

You cannot plan realistically without understanding what you are actually building. We document business requirements, agree scope early, and provide realistic cost and timeline estimates before implementation begins.

How we deliver digital transformation services

Four phases. No surprises.

Every project we run follows the same proven structure, from the first workshop to the day your team goes live and beyond. A clear digital transformation roadmap reduces risk and creates the conditions for for successful project delivery and lasting business transformation.

At the same time, three things run continuously:

  • clear governance so decisions get made,
  • active workstream management so nothing falls between teams, and
  • change management so your people are ready - not just your systems.

PHASE 01: Initiate

We agree on everything before we implement anything.

Before configuration begins, we run requirements workshops with your team to understand how the business actually works. We document and prioritize requirements, define scope, clarify responsibilities, and create a realistic project plan covering milestones, dependencies, testing, training, data migration and go-live. Only then does implementation begin.

  • Requirements workshops with prioritisation using the MoSCoW technique
  • Clear scope agreed, prioritized and documented
  • Project plan with timeline, dependencies, delivery milestones and RACI
  • Formal sign-off before implementation begins

PHASE 02: Implement

Implement: We deliver in cycles, so you stay informed and in control.

Implementation happens in short delivery cycles rather than one large release. After each cycle, key users review progress, test functionality, and provide feedback. This helps identify issues early, supports changing business needs, and keeps the project moving forward with confidence.

  • Iterative delivery cycles with review and demonstration sessions
  • Key user testing and validation after every cycle
  • Data migration testing throughout the project
  • Integrations developed and reviewed as implementation progresses

PHASE 03: Prepare

We prepare your organization, not just your system.

Before go-live, we focus on readiness across people, processes, and technology. Users are trained, acceptance testing is completed, and go-live criteria are reviewed together. This ensures your team is prepared and confident before the solution goes into production.

  • Full acceptance testing completed with your team
  • End user training completed before go-live
  • Go-live readiness reviewed against agreed criteria
  • Joint go/no-go decision before launch

PHASE 04: Operate

Go-live is the start of the next phase, not the finish line.

After launch, we remain engaged to support users, monitor system performance, and resolve issues quickly. Once the solution is stable, we transition to ongoing support and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future enhancements.

  • Hands-on support following go-live
  • System monitoring and rapid issue resolution
  • Structured transition to ongoing support
  • Continuous improvement opportunities identified and prioritized
Business transformation outcomes

A delivered solution. Not a delivered document.

At the end of a BE-terna project, your team is using the solution, not reading a manual. Every phase produces tangible, approved deliverables that you can review, validate, and rely on. We do not consider a project successful when it goes live. We consider it successful when it delivers value in your daily operations and supports your broader business transformation goals. From the start, we define what success looks like based on your business goals and objectives. Success criteria, prioritized requirements, and acceptance conditions are documented before implementation begins and measured throughout the project lifecycle. Our approach applies across all major business solution projects, including ERP implementations, CRM platforms, Business Intelligence solutions, AI initiatives , and business process automation projects .

  • A solution aligned with your business objectives, not driven by technical assumptions
  • A clearly defined and agreed scope, documenting what is included, what is not, and why
  • A solution built and tested with your key users, not handed over untested
  • Data that has been migrated and validated, not simply moved from one system to another
  • Users who are trained and ready, before the first day of live operation
  • Go-live only when agreed success criteria have been met, including organizational readiness
  • Hands-on support after go-live, until the solution is stable and your team is confident
