About Anest Iwata Scandinavia AB

Anest Iwata is a global manufacturer of industrial coating equipment with a strong focus on quality and precision. The Swedish business is responsible for the group’s operations and customers across Scandinavia, Finland, and the Baltics.

The assignment: a secure, standard-first journey

BE-terna was trusted to carry out a standard-first implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management for the Swedish business.

The ambition was clear: to reuse the group’s existing Core Model as much as possible, while ensuring that Swedish requirements for finance, tax, and local business conditions were fully met.

How We Worked Together

  • Delivered a template-based D365 implementation with a very high degree of reuse.
  • Delivered a complete Finance solution, including tax, compliance, chart of accounts, and financial dimensions.
  • Implemented core Supply Chain processes such as sales, purchasing, inventory, production/assembly, and basic warehouse management.
  • Ensured structured, quality-assured data migration from existing systems.
  • Worked according to proven project methodology and Microsoft’s Success by Design methodology to minimize risk, limit unnecessary customizations, and create a sustainable solution over time.

The Result: A Platform Built for Growth

Anest Iwata Scandinavia now has a modern, scalable, and group-aligned ERP solution that supports both local requirements and future development.

The solution is built on a high degree of standardization, low complexity, and close collaboration, giving the business a stable platform for continued growth.
