Since BE-Project is being used as an integrated ERP system, numerous individual solutions at Amptown System Company (ASC) are no longer required, and work can be carried out far more efficiently. The industry solution was introduced quickly and affordably with an agile project methodology. Individual customer adjustments were then implemented, and the functions were optimised to meet ASC‘s needs.
The most important steps were implemented before the solution went live in summer 2017, and further adjustments were made during ongoing operation. Both the project-specific handling of the warehouse processes and sector-specific production posed challenges. Service and complaints management were successfully adapted to the special requirements. Payment transactions were also simplified even further by using the Konfipay module. Mobile device connection enabled pooling and optimisation of warehouse processes. This approach will be further developed in the future.
