IKO Sportartikel Handels GmbH is not just an equipment provider for mountain and winter sports, but it has also been successfully active in international cycling since 1990 with its in-house brand, Corratec. In its online shop and in two subsidiaries (Raubling in Bavaria and Hallwang near Salzburg), the company carries numerous, strong outdoor brands and bicycles produced in house. Its main headquarters in Raubling has produced numerous innovations and patents from the very beginning. To continue the global journey to the top, the decision was made at the end of 2021 to implement a new ERP solution together with BE-terna and to replace the legacy AX 2012 system. Its focus is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management in the production and logistics areas.
With roughly 220 employees and an export business in 42 countries, IKO Sportartikel Handels GmbH is tailored to international growth, and the new system also needs to reflect this development, which is why Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management was chosen as standard. Among other things, the project's goals are to simplify business processes between individual sites and to connect existing webshops. Furthermore, the aim is to cut down on third-party systems and to increase the flexibility and scalability of the company's processes across all levels. This new business software solution is not only turning this outdoor and cycling specialist into a cloud-based company but is also paving the way for easily connecting additional production locations and subsidiaries. Johannes Irlbacher, Commerical Director at IKO Sportartikel Handels GmbH, is convinced:

This successful partnership was also confirmed in the form of follow-up projects: Following the go-live of the business software solution at the German-speaking locations in mid-2022, the rollout will follow at the Romanian production facility for the Corratec brand of bicycles.

Corratec has evolved across the IKO Shop's retail spaces for over 25 years, and it has been produced and exported to over 40 countries. Nowadays, Corratec is a brand with global representation and recognition, and it is still managed in the IKO Sportartikel Handels GmbH family company.
