BE–You: Our recruitment process

3 min read

We enable businesses to succeed at what they’re doing by empowering their teams. In doing so, we have learnt that dream teams are built when their individuals are encouraged to be themselves. We want to build teams, by supporting individuality and boosting team spirit. If you want to join us in helping others, you can do so by being yourself.

The aim of our selection process is not only to find people who are a perfect fit for our team, but also to give you an opportunity to find the right fit for you.

A recruiter will be your buddy every step of the way, able to field any questions or concerns you might have, and to keep you posted. Our recruiters are available by email, phone, or on LinkedIn. We will work to ensure that you have exactly what is needed throughout the interview process.

So, let us outline what hiring looks like at BE-terna. Our interview process, in most cases, consists of four stages.

1. Show interest

If you want to get to meet us, reach out and send us your application. You can upload it in English or the local language of the branch you’re applying to. Each application is screened, and our target is to reply to each and every one within 3-5 days. In other words, our feedback is guaranteed. In the unlikely situation that this is not the case, you can always contact us to check the status of your application.

Even if you don’t find any vacancies of particular interest, you can still send us your CV via CONNECT WITH US.

2. Meet the Recruiter

The second stage of our selection process is a call with a recruiter. This will be a short chat about your application and an introduction to our company, so you’ll be able to get a feeling of what it’s like to work here.

3. Interview

Next, you'll have an opportunity to visit us at our premises and have a cup of coffee with the Hiring Manager and/or Future Teammates. This way you’ll get an opportunity to feel the vibes and get firsthand information about the vacancy. Hint – sometimes we do this virtually, and you can probably guess why 🙃

4. Assessment

The fourth stage is an assignment, a great way to get a glimpse into our work and to show us your skills. If you're an engineering candidate, we’ll send you a short coding task, whereas if you’re applying for a non-engineering role, you’ll be given a presentation task. Don’t worry, either way, we will give you plenty of time to prepare.

After successfully completing the selection steps, we will consolidate feedback and make the final decision. If we see you as a good fit for the role and our culture, we will extend an offer.

However, a job offer is not the end of the process. It’s the beginning of a wonderful adventure with your new teammates. Your recruiting buddy will be with you all the way, starting with pre-boarding and followed by the onboarding process. You’re a part of our team now, so relax, we’ve got your back 😉

So, you’ve made it to the end of this article, if any of your questions remain unanswered, feel free to contact us.
